Everytime I step foot into this store I am bombarded with eclectic pieces and end up having to take something home. It happens to be 90 degrees here in Tampa, but on my last visit I had to grab this lightweight cardi. The colors pop and remind me of something Sherlock Holmes would wear. Beware of this place, it can break you if you're not careful. Did I mention this was only ten bucks?
Stay tuned ...
And, on another note ...
The Urban Outfitters store in Ybor City will close in summer 2011.

TAMPA - The Centro Ybor retail complex will suffer another loss this summer as
the Urban Outfitters store will close its doors. The final day will be about
July 5 according to store employees.
Monday, a wide range of items at the store were on clearance, with some flannel
shirts selling for $4.99, while many of the decorations are already being taken
down and only one register was operating.
The store had been a relatively-large, two-story anchor tenant in the complex,
across from the Centro Ybor movie theater, and was one of the few national
retail chains to open in the mainly independent-dominated entertainment and
shopping center.
The move marks something of a shift in address for Urban Outfitters, which
focused on an eclectic counter-culture theme focusing on the college and hipster
set. In July 2010, the Philadelphia-based chain opened an 11,351-square-foot
location on Bay Street at International Plaza. At that time, company officials
declined to comment on what would happen with the store in Ybor.
Urban Outfitters still operates more than 170 retail stores in the United
States, Europe and Canada, plus 152 Anthropologie stores.
The Centro Ybor complex has seen a mix of good and bad news recently, with
marquee retailers like Victoria's Secret and others moving out, while a string
of more independent shops like the upscale Tribeca Color salon and Tampa Digital
Studios production company have moved into vacant spaces.
